DESCRIPTION:We are really looking forward to celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in school and giving our children a real sense of the time frame which this covers. \nTo support our celebrations and the history surrounding Elizabeth’s reign the year groups are going to be split into 7 decades. \nReception/Nursery – Anything Red\, White or Blue \nYear 1 – 80’s \nYear 2 – -60’s \nYear 3 – -70’s \nYear 4 – 2000’s \nYear 5 – 90’s \nYear 6 – 50’s \nThe children will have lessons and activities about their decade and significant events throughout the Queen’s reign on Thursday 26th May. On the day we would like staff and children to dress up in the clothing style of your decade and hope that we can join together to make a human timeline of the last 70 years. \nWe really hope it will be a memorable and enjoyable celebration for all. \n
