The Juniors went skipping mad today at the launch of our ‘Skip 2 b fit’ Programme for 2017-18.
Each class took part in a skipping session with a difference involving ropes with counters, timed challenges and a fruit pot of blueberries!
Skip 2 b fit’ is a fitness programme that encourages the children to practise skipping every day and improve their score over 6 weeks with a weekly timed challenge.
This promotes health and fitness and gives the children a chance to improve on their personal best both in skipping and school life in general.
