Y5 decided they wanted to say Merry Christmas and Thank You to the Fire Service.
Through their topic work in school Y5 learnt that not everyone gets to enjoy a Christmas Day at home.
They decided to make Christmas Cards to thank the Fire Service for helping keep everyone safe over the festive season.
Some of the children took the cards to Buckley Hill Fire Station and met the Firefighters who were on duty.
The Firefighters were delighted to receive the Christmas cards and good wishes from the children.
