Nursery, Reception and Year 1 are now taking part in Religion lessons using the new programme of study, To Know You More Clearly, as set out in the Religious Education Directory for Catholic Schools, Academies and Colleges in England and Wales. Year 2 will start the programme in the Summer Term.
Each half-term will focus on a different branch, the themes are;
Creation and Covenant
Prophesy and Promise
Galilee to Jerusalem
Desert to Garden
Ends of the Earth
Dialogue and Encounter
The programme is planned to be fully in place by September 2026, and so we are currently introducing it to each year group, one per term in accordance with the guidance from Liverpool Archdiocese.
We will continue to update the website with a summary of what the children are learning each term.
